Ambulance Dispatcher
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Must type 35 wpm. minimum
- Current CPR certification
- Emergency Medical Dispatch Certificate or E.T.C. or Paramedic or E.M.T. (Experience preferred)
- Knowledge of Los Angeles County geography
- Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Dispatcher are responsible to deploying ambulance fleet after obtaining necessary information from our customers requesting
- ambulance services
- Facilitate all information from field functions to Operations managers
- Excellent written and verbal communications skill
- Gather billing information and coordinate reimbursement payments with customers and other insurance agencies
- Maintain a thorough working knowledge of service geography, which includes maps, streets, and grid book systems.
- Accurately input information on computers
- Phone etiquette, handles multiline phones
- Customer service skills
